Community Response Kit
SAAS (South Australian Ambulance Service) Snowtown Branch also provides a community response kit for the area, which is located in Brinkworth and manned by qualified SAAS Volunteers who live in the area. The response kit can assist in most emergency medical conditions and help to stabilise a patient prior to the arrival of an ambulance.
To access the community response kit:

Become a Volunteer
An SA Ambulance is stationed in Snowtown and crewed by volunteers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is always seeking new crew members. To become an ambulance officer you must undertake a police check, a medical and an interview. The nationally accredited Certificate IV in Emergency Care is completed and volunteers work in a team environment. All enquiries welcome.
Training is weekly during school term time on Tuesday nights at 8pm.
