Brinkworth Progress Association

Brinkworth Progress Association works with our community to preserve and enhance social, environmental, recreational and economic opportunities in our town. Any adult resident is welcome to attend our meetings and volunteers are also welcome at working bees. See end of page for contact details.
- We oversee the maintenance of Brinkworth's parks and gardens.
- We developed and now maintain the travellers' overnight stay facility at Stockyard Reserve.
- We have developed a wheelchair-friendly walking/cycling trail along the route of our disused railway line. (Thanks to Clare Signs for generously helping with signs for this area and to Brinkworth History Group and its sponsors for adding railway heritage interpretive signage.)
- We facilitate the publication of the Black and White Rag community newsletter.
- We take every opportunity to support, encourage and promote Brinkworth businesses.
In addition to this we regularly arrange working bees and/or facilitate the following public events:
- Australia Day Community Breakfast
- Town Garage Sale Day in Spring
- Town Christmas Party in December
- Town Garden Competition
