At the local level, it is the perfect place to start or finish a leisurely exploration of the Bunyip Trail, linking the rural communities of Brinkworth, Koolunga, Redhill and Yacka, and enjoying the tranquil pleasures of the Broughton River.
And for wine lovers, the Clare Valley Riesling Trail is easily accessed via the neighbouring town of Blyth - perhaps to be visited after a festive and gourmet night at Brinkworth’s award-winning Annual Wine Tasting on the last Saturday in July.
